Today marks a major milestone for Cumbria as the Government has laid the Statutory Instrument in Parliament to formally establish the Cumbria Combined Authority.
Cumbria will have a new Mayor-led strategic authority, unlocking substantial additional powers and funding to drive economic regeneration across the county.
